Job Description

Summary of Position:

In this role, you will be monitoring the Delivery Hotline for all of our Retail Stores – US Stores, Puerto Rico Stores, and our Canadian Stores. You will report directly and partner with the Transportation Manager for all Store needs and issues. This role requires a self-driven, patient, organized, and customer oriented individual who can work with little to no supervision. This role will require partnerships to be built with carriers, as well as, internals partners. This role will require excellent communication skills – written and verbal.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivery Hotline: Monitor and maintain emails and phones calls from our retail stores and carriers.
  • Reporting: There are several reports that are updated daily and weekly and sent to our Stores, Managers, Carriers, and our internal partners. Accuracy is vital.
  • New Stores: Oversee the delivery of all new retail stores openings. Ensuring the proper communications has been sent to all parties involved.
  • Canada Deliveries: Overseeing all LTL and FTL shipments to the East and West Coast. Ensuring all shipments arrive to our 3rd party carriers on time. This requires the ability to escalate all issues in a timely matter.
  • Delivery Day Schedule: Maintaining and updating our DDS and ensuring it is accurate.
  • Store Communications: Sending proper communications to our Store Ops Team regarding any delivery issues – delays, early breaks, upcoming holiday, or any issues out of the normal delivery schedules.
  • Claims: Working with the Stores and the Carriers to file claims on lost or damaged packages.
  • Re-Directs: Working with internal partners and the carrier to arrange a change in the deliveries.
  • Over-Goods and Store Returns: Processing all cartons the stores and carriers return to the DC.
  • Carton Counts: Monitor the system that provides carton details to the stores. Responsible for providing carton count reporting to the stores.
  • Store PI: Ensure all deliveries are delivered prior to store physical inventories and be proactive in communicating any delays.
  • Outside Assisting: This role assists other departments during the week including, but not limited to the Mailroom and Receiving departments. This role will also assists with front line work within the warehouse during our peak season.

Job Requirements

Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Customer Service experience
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize and maintain productivity with little supervision
  • Experience with RDM, Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to build strong relationships, partner closely with business partners and provide outstanding customer service
  • The ability to maintain reports accurately and present on time
  • Strong problem solving skills; present solutions and recommendations to challenges
  • A high sense of urgency when needed

Work Hours and Environment:

  • Typical work hours are day shift Monday through Friday.
  • Overtime and some weekend work may be required based on business needs.
  • Work in an office/warehouse setting.
