Job Description

Summary of Position: Build effective internal relationships to support our staffing and recruitment functions for our Distribution Center. The Recruiter position will support the Operations Management, Retail, Web Fulfillment, Customer Service, Receiving, QC, IC, and Human Resources.

The primary responsibilities/essential functions of this position include the following, but are subject to change based upon operating necessity:

  • Utilize multi-media to identify candidates. This will include, but not limited to: direct sourcing, internet/social media search, employee referrals, job fairs, networking, interviewing and cold calling.
  • Ensure timely and proper selection of candidates, measured by: time to fill, cost per hire, turnover rates, feedback from candidates, new hires, and feedback of managers and supervisors.
  • Build, understand and articulate job specifications in partnership with managers and supervisor, in an effort to accurately represent the open positions to candidates.
  • Embrace and share the Gymboree culture and convey this to all candidates.
  • Involvement of coordinating the offer processes: scheduling/performing reference checks; generating offer letter; submitting background checks; scheduling orientation; ensuring appropriate new hire paperwork is completed.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 1-year experience in staffing and/or administrative responsibilities.
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Project management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective business relationships.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Bilingual: Fluent in English and Spanish Preferred

Work Hours and Environment:

  • Typical work hours are 9:00 am to 5:30 pm. Work in an office/warehouse setting.
  • This is a temporary, three (3) month position.
