We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Revenue Accounting team in San Francisco. This individual will work closely with various departments and levels of management within the organization. The Senior Revenue Analyst/Manager will be responsible for overseeing day to day sales audit and store banking. The ideal candidate with have strong IT system background knowledge of retail revenue systems, including sales audit, POS, Trintech, and banking. This individual will manage the sales audit SLAs and resolution of store media issues such as cash overages/shortages, and daily reconciliation of bank deposits. The individual will ensure that current procedures are being followed and are in compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.

The candidate will also be involved in the month-end close process by ensuring all outstanding audit issues have been resolved by end of the month. This will require the Senior Revenue Analyst/Manager to work a minimum of one weekend day each month for month-end close. As part of our team, this position will support ad hoc reporting needs and special projects within the department. This position will report directly to the Senior Manager of Revenue Accounting.

  • Testing of IT interfaces (ie. web, POS) into Sales Audit
  • Adhoc reporting requests

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-6 years of sales audit and/or system experience; preferably with retail industry experience and IT system knowledge
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, fFnance, or IT is preferred
  • Strong communications skills and must be detail oriented
  • Demonstrated ability to initiate changes in work assignments or processing to improve efficiency
  • Must be able to apply consistent standards to work while accommodating frequent changes in company requirements
  • Requires a well-organized person, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and interruptions
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required and experience with Oracle Financials R12 preferred
  • Retail industry experiences a plus
  • Aptos Sales Audit and Trintech ReconNet experience is a plus
