As we open and remodel stores, we’re looking for a Sr. Field Recruiter to help us create and execute an innovative strategy for building a field talent pipeline for lasting success.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will help build Gymboree Group’s field recruiting strategy for our Gymboree, Janie and Jack, and Crazy8 brands in partnership with the Sr. Director, Human Resources, Field. Engaging with your District Managers, Regional Directors, and VP of Stores, you will source, identify, develop, and employ innovative and effective strategies to hire the best candidates for our store management teams. You will help create a pipeline of enthusiastic, optimistic, and successful candidates who are passionate about our product and care about our customers. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Strategically partner with Regional Directors, District Managers and HR Business Partners to understand, anticipate and prioritize talent needs for the Gymboree brand and deliver candidates
  • Build the Store Leadership pipeline with District Mangers and Regionals for key markets, leveraging personal networks, recruiting platforms, social media and the Applicant Tracking System
  • Manage the full cycle recruiting process including sourcing, assessing, selecting and presenting candidates to the Store Leadership team
  • Creatively source candidates using innovative approaches and technology to attract new candidates
  • Stay abreast of trends in staffing tools and technology, approaches, competitive perks and benefits and market competition for candidates
  • Analyze regional staffing trends and market data, create market staffing strategies and present to HR and Field leadership
  • Develop and implement innovative recruiting collateral and interview tools for the field management teams
  • Maintain a comprehensive, qualified candidate pipeline using Gymboree’s Applicant Tracking System
  • As the recruiting and networking expert, you will travel in key markets to identify opportunities, and conduct trainings on how to be more effective in all phases of the recruiting and hiring process
  • Create key metrics to measure success rates
  • Coordinate the interview process with candidates, including scheduling and travel arrangements

Job Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of full life-cycle field recruiting experience
  • An incredible network of retail candidates with a track record of successful candidate placement
  • Expertise in creating and implementing a successful sourcing strategy
  • Demonstrated ability to generate a high volume and high quality candidate pipeline under tight timelines
  • Ability to build strong relationships, partner closely with business partners and provide outstanding customer service
  • Experience effectively utilizing technology to create a pipeline and leveraging an applicant tracking system
  • Strong problem solving skills; presents solutions and recommendations to challenges
  • Thrives in change and uncertainty; is quick to act when direction changes
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience creating and delivering compelling presentations via phone and in person
  • A high sense of urgency and ability to manage multiple hiring needs simultaneously
  • A point of view and ability to contribute new ideas
  • Strong negotiation skills
