Job Description

Summary of Position : In addition to the ability to perform all of the functions, essential and marginal, listed for each functional area in which he/she may be working, the Returns Associate will report directly to a leadership team member within the Returns area and support members of the Customer Service team.

The primary responsibilities/essential functions of this position include the following, but are subject to change based upon operating necessity:

  • Process returns for the online store
  • Monitor and trend returns activity on a daily basis
  • Process price adjustments, credits and defective returns
  • Utilize computer and appropriate programs to perform general order research/processing, data entry and record keeping.
  • Assist with additional functions and projects within the Returns area as required based upon operating necessity,
  • Perform day to day office functions such as filing, faxing and mailing.

Job Requirements

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to meet individual and department goals
  • Excellent organizational and (verbal and written) communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong sense of urgency to effectively complete multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Willingness to be a team player in order to achieve organizational goals
  • Excellent detail accuracy and organizational skills

  • Experience and knowledge of POS systems desired
  • General knowledge of computers and the ability to learn new computer applications as needed
  • Takes on additional tasks with a positive attitude
  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent

Work Hours and Environment:

  • Flex day and swing shift
  • Typical work hours are Monday through Friday to include shifts between 6:00 am and 7:00 pm.
  • Saturday and Sunday to include shifts between 7:00 am and 4:30 pm.
  • Overtime may be required based on business needs.
  • Work in a call center/warehouse setting.
