Project Manager, Store Operations - Janie & Jack

What You’ll Do

The Store Operations Project Manager will help facilitate strong operational processes in the field locations through development of new initiatives, communication of daily procedures, management of projects, creation and management of reporting, and thorough data analysis for the Store Operations department. They will support the Store Operations team with additional tasks as needed. They will build relationships and work cross functionally with business partners from Stores, Construction, Communications, Marketing, Merchandising, Visual, HR, Legal, Loss Prevention, Inventory Control, Planning and Allocation and IT.

Previous retail experience is a plus. Proven project management skills required on both short term and long term projects in order to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize urgent needs in order to achieve objectives and deliver on deadlines within budget. This person must be organized and detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills. They will have demonstrated success in problem solving and taking initiative and the ability to work independently as well as in teams with cross functional partners. They must have a strong service mindset with the ability to provide a high level of service to internal and external customers. This person must enjoy working in a fun, fast-paced, dynamic environment. Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Ongoing and intermittent data analysis of key store performance indicators
  • Creation and management of recurring and ad hoc reporting as needed
  • Management of the monthly Field Alignment and Google Maps for use by cross-functional business partners
  • Own the Payroll Optimization program for all stores
  • Manage the Field bonus and Incentive programs
  • Own Store Inventory Management application(s)
  • Execute technology projects as needed
  • Maintain and create department processes as required; working along with the Operations team
  • Demonstrate an understanding of business priorities and terminology
  • Analyze proposals and invoices as necessary
  • Ability to use sound judgment and independently resolve complex problems
  • Manage various programs, projects and tasks as needed

What You'll Bring

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in business analytics and project management.
  • Must have excellent organizational agility, time management, communication skills, detail-oriented, as well as interpersonal skills working with key business partners
  • Ability to respond quickly in high-stress situations, while managing multiple tasks and prioritizing workload
  • Self-motivated, pro-active thinker who has ability to follow projects through completion in a fast- paced environment
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint and in working with an online database system
