The Merchandise Coordinator is responsible for supporting the seasonal product development process for the brand. Working closely with their Merchandise Manager, this person will perform in-season and hindsight analysis of selling trends by department and line, as well as ad hoc analysis requested by the Merchandise team. This person will work with Momentis in managing product lines and will work closely with Production partners as necessary. Works with the Manager to perform competitive shopping analysis as well as update and maintain seasonal competitive shopping reports. The Merchandise Coordinator is also fully responsible for sample management and tracking. This role serves as the main point of contact and provides specific product information and samples for the website. They are fully responsible for sample management and tracking. This role will also be responsible for Sarbanes-Oxley reconciliation and record maintenance by line for the department.

Job Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required with a minimum of 1 year of hands-on merchandising experience
  • Must possess strong analytical skills as well as a strong proficiency working with numbers
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, coupled with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to follow projects/tasks to completion
  • PC skills required; including experience with Word and Excel applications specifically
  • Must enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic environment and must have the ability to work with all levels within the organization
