The Manager, Digital Marketing will be responsible for building ROI online marketing campaigns to grow the online programs for the Gymboree family of brands: Gymboree, Crazy 8 and Janie and Jack. We need a fast learner that can analyze data and come to actionable conclusions quickly someone who can craft a recommendation and make it happen. This role will be responsible for building, growing and optimizing online marketing programs (Affiliate, SEM, display, comparison shopping, mobile, etc.) in order to acquire new customers, increase retention and drive profitable sales.


Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the day to day management of the online marketing programs, including budgeting, forecasting, accruals and reporting.
  • Serve as the day to day contact with agencies/partners.
  • Ensure all online marketing channels are aligned with brand marketing calendars while keeping an eye out for potential issues and/or opportunities.
  • Track, measure and report online marketing performance on a regular basis.
  • Communicate online marketing strategies and tactics to colleagues and senior leadership.
  • Collaborate with ecommerce, brand, merchandising, IT, store operations, creative and legal to execute new and existing initiatives.
  • Evaluate and recommend new online marketing opportunities and technologies.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field (MBA a plus)
  • 3+ years of proven experience building high ROI online marketing programs that acquire new customers
  • Experience with SEM, CSEs, affiliate marketing, paid social media advertising, display and mobile advertising
  • A deep understanding of ecommerce technology (web analytics, ad tracking, a/b/n testing, tag management, content management)
  • A curiosity about identifying what drives conversions
  • A creative and analytical mind
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Results and deadline driven
  • Able to work independently with little direction and multi-task while being productive and timely
