Job Description

The Manager, Company Planning will be responsible for preseason planning activities, including long-range planning (revenue/margin/inventory), quarterly planning reviews, and annual budgeting.


  • Analyze records of past and present financial data to create accurate sales, margin and inventory forecasts for both in-season and pre-season planning for one or more brands.
  • Lead the process of in-season forecasting activities, including daily, weekly and monthly forecasts.
  • Articulate both in written and verbal communication business performance, risk, opportunities, and strategies across the organization.
  • Proactively identify opportunities and risks, devise practical solutions, and carry out timely analyses that drive business decisions, and influence sales/margin and inventory forecasts.
  • Communicate the expected impact of business initiatives to cross-functional teams.
  • Develop financial models and analysis that provide insight through ad hoc reporting and analyze the effectiveness of strategies.
  • Partner with Planning, Allocation, Accounting, and Finance on deliverables.
  • Provide support for preparing executive presentations.
  • Problem solve. Drive change and improve effectiveness and efficiency in a rapidly evolving company

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • 3-5 years of financial and business planning, forecasting and analysis. Ideally, direct experience in Company Planning.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven ability to build strong partnerships and influence others.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to seamlessly move between strategic planning and tactical execution
  • Excellent analytical application skills (Excel, etc.) and desire to master new systems; productivity application skills (PowerPoint, Word)
