The Financial Planning & Analysis-Hyperion PBCS Systems Administrator will lead the development of reporting and forecasting processes in the new Oracle Hyperion Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service system. This role is an integral part of the FP&A team, working on a variety of projects involving data analysis and reporting. This individual will be responsible for designing and building reports using Hyperion Financial Reporting and Oracle Smart View. The role will also administer Oracle PBCS: management reporting, hierarchy maintenance, data loads, system updates, validation and reconciliation, system security and troubleshooting system issues.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is required
  • At least 3 years of experience as a PBCS consultant or full-time systems administrator
  • Proven experience creating a PBCS application from scratch with ability to:
    • Stand up a BSO & ASO Cube
    • Create a new sparse and dense dimension
    • Create an attribute
    • Write and edit business rule script
    • Create rule sets
    • Create and edit web forms
    • Create and edit data load rules
  • Must know how to build reports in Financial Reporting Studio"
    • Create a book of multiple reports and distribute out with the use of batches
    • Must know command line scheduling for external scheduling locally of reports
    • Create alternate hierarchies for reporting. Will need to understand dimension editor, metadata load from application and use of planning and admin hierarchy tool
  • Experience with Financial Data Management Enterprise
  • Full working knowledge of Oracle Smart View
  • VBA Macro code to replicate reports in Excel by using Smart View vba script
  • Strong Proficiency with Excel 2013 & 2016
