What You’ll Do

The Merchandiser will support the seasonal product development process along with day-to-day business functions. Working closely with senior level merchants, this role provides critical reporting and analysis as it relates to current business objectives and will participate in the development of strategies to support the web business.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-season and hindsight analysis of selling trends by department as well as by classification, including size, color, silhouette, fashion and basics
  • Work with merchants to complete and maintain the assortment tool for their category of responsibility
  • Work with Momentis in managing product lines and work closely with cross-functional partners
  • Collaborate with team to perform competitive shopping analysis as well as update and maintain seasonal competitive shopping reports
  • Perform ad hoc analysis as requested by category, style, size, and region
  • Work closely with Manager to select product and provide specific information for the website creative teams and other marketing vehicles (i.e. ad campaigns)

What You'll Bring

  • BA/BS degree required with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on merchandising experience
  • Strong analytical skills as well as proficiency working with numbers
  • Excellent communication skills, coupled with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to follow projects/tasks to completion
  • PC skills required; including experience with Word and Excel applications
  • Must enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and have the ability to work with all levels within the organization
