What You’ll Do

This position leads the accounting function and will interface with all levels of the organization, as well as the internal and external auditors. In this role, you will own the financial reporting, account reconciliation and overall month-end close processes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Build the accounting organization and serve as point of contact for all external requests
  • Guide the financial closing and reporting process while driving improvements to quality and timeliness by running a disciplined close process, and coordinating activities and analysis with teams across the accounting and finance organization.
  • Support the full cycle general ledger monthly close process and related activities to ensure accounts are properly reconciled, reported and in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including revenue recognition (ASC 606), share-based compensation, consolidation accounting, accounting for international operations, foreign exchange issues, and purchase accounting.
  • Team-oriented professional with a “roll-up sleeves” mindset, who promotes a collaborative team effort and celebrates team successes.
  • Monitor and review the general ledgers, balance sheet reconciliations and financial statements for all entities, including Roll forward, Sub-ledger, Capital Expenditure, and Cash Flow reports.
  • Implement, document and maintain effective internal controls based on company guidelines.
  • Prepare/review auditor documentation requests and work closely with our auditors to ensure successful audits and timely filing of financial statements, including statutory audits for various legal entities.

What You’ll Bring

  • A proactive hands-on approach to own the organization’s accounting function
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is a must; SEC Reporting experience preferred
  • Big Four or National Firm accounting experience is preferred
  • Ability to apply consistent standards while adapting to frequent changes in Company requirements
  • Flexible and able to work with changing priorities
  • Effective balance between attention to detail and swift execution
  • Knowledge of GAAP and experience in consolidated financial reporting
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Access, and Word skills are required
  • Experience with Oracle Financials and FAS preferred
