Job Description

Summary of Position: The Receiving Administrator is responsible for accurately preparing all paperwork related to the receiving of product to its Distribution Center to receiving stores. The Administrator accounts for all discrepancies and is adept at problem-solving. The Administrator assists with tasks such as interfacing with the corporate office to resolve problems, and generating reports.

The successful candidate will have strong organizational and detail accuracy skills. This position requires 1+ years experience in an administrative or similar capacity. This is a full-time, non-exempt position which reports to the Receiving Supervisor through the lead.

The primary responsibilities/essential functions of this position include the following, but are subject to change based upon operating necessity:

  • Generate receiving memos in an accurate and timely fashion.
  • Perform Receiving responsibilities when necessary.
  • Log receiving memos.
  • Review receiving documents for accuracy and input completed receiving memos (sku input).
  • Maintain log of units received.
  • Interface with corporate office to resolve problems with orders.
  • Use the RDM management system to generate reports as required.
  • Work with team members to resolve problems and ensure excellent customer service.
  • Ensure all Distribution Center policies and procedures, both operational and safety, are met.

Job Requirements

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Possess a minimum of 1+ years experience in administration, data entry or a related field.
  • Proficiently work with Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Word.
  • Demonstrate exceptional detail accuracy and interpersonal skills.
  • Work within tight deadlines on a routine basis.
  • Work independently as needed to resolve problems and implement solutions.
  • Work successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
  • Able to lift up to 60lbs.

Hours of Work and Work Environment:

  • Typical work hours for day shift are Monday through Friday from 6:00 am -2:30pm.
  • Overtime and some weekend work may be required based on business needs.
  • Work in a warehouse setting.
