The Data Coordinator is responsible for entering and validating promotional and markdown activity as initiated by the Planning and Merchandising teams, ensuring price accuracy in all stores and alignment to marketing calendar. This role will contribute to markdown and promo strategy development and planning; develop an understanding of sales, margin, shipping revenue and store participation of promo programs. The Data Coordinator will contribute to the success of brand by executing pricing strategies and coordinating communication with store operations to ensure proper execution. This individual will partner with Planning and Merchandising to resolve data conflict and maintain reports to identify and resolve variances or pricing errors. They will be responsible to manage pricing strategies and execution across multiple channels, help to limit/prevent conflicts across channels as well as facilitate promotional processes with cross-functional teams. The Data Coordinator will incorporate information on market competitors in analysis and recommendations and identify opportunities for new tools or processes and actively participate in building them. The role will also partner with cross-functional counterparts to develop and communicate tactical plans to achieve timelines and deliverables and foster a collaborative, innovative and results-oriented work environment.

Job Requirements

  • BA plus 1 - 2 years analytical experience, preferably in a retail setting
  • Advanced Excel skills are a must
  • Possess a clear understanding of key financial measurements and have the ability to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines
  • Must be flexible and adaptive to changing priorities and have logical analysis and problem solving skills with a strong focus on details and accuracy
  • Strong communication skills, with ability to build and maintain productive relationships are desired
