What You’ll Do

The Associate Production Manager will be responsible for the cost, quality a, d delivery of product for the department. They will own the end to end costing process each season including: pre-costing sub-class analysis, leading at DV/Paso meeting, owning costing meetings, and placement finalization with the Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Quality and Product Safety / Regulatory Compliance teams on concerns balancing design and merchant needs with Company requirements
  • Ensure all deadlines are met and issues resolved to meet in store date for your product and effectively communicate to internal and external partners' status of production, approvals, and deliveries
  • Maintain core responsibilities with minimal supervision and be accountable for work commitments and outcomes
  • Identify and proactively engage Manager and cross-functional partners when issues arise
  • Travel to vendors to understand pre-production and production process and gain knowledge of garment construction and manufacturing methods as well as build partnerships with agencies and vendors
  • Engage in 2-way product development

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring

  • 2-4 years related experience as an apparel production manager in a vertically integrated retail environment is required
  • An understanding of quality fabrics, trims, garment construction, and production lead-times
  • Strong interpersonal, organization and verbal/written skills as well as thorough and accurate communication and follow-up
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks and work with a keen sense of urgency
  • Must have the ability to proactively troubleshoot and problem solve
  • Strong computer skills (Momentis Excel, Microsoft Outlook/Office) are required
